About the College
The SNDT Women’s University was established in 1916 by Bharatratna Maharshi Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve, with generous support from Sir Vitthaldas Thackersey. It is India’s first university exclusively for women and is NAAC accredited with an ‘A’ Grade.
The College on Karve Road, Pune, offers programmes in Arts, Commerce, Fine Arts, Computer Applications and Accountancy & Finance, with renowned faculty, a well-equipped library, sports facilities and a vibrant campus life.
